TOUCHABLE transforms the iPad into a touch-screen controller dedicated to Ableton Live with his 6 Modules (Clip Grid, Mixer, Devices, Keys, Pads, XYZ Pad). Since its launch in September 2010 Touchable has attracted a large number of Ableton Live users with its efficiency and easy-to-use interface. French electronic artist and Ableton Certified Trainer and Touchable developer Sylvain Garcia (aka Le K) and his partner Christian Blomert will be on hand to explain the patch’s functionality. http://touch-able.com/

LIINE is a collaborative project founded in 2010 by a group of people passionate about music and technology. Their long-term goal is to redefine the way people interact with sound and music. Products include Griid – the first integrated Ableton Live controller for iPhone/iPad, and Kapture Pad – total recall snapshot control for Ableton Live originally developed for Richie Hawtin’s Plastikman Live tour. Liine collaborate closely with many professional artists to conceptualize and develop live performance setups. Artists include Plastikman, Steve Ferlazzo of the Avril Lavigne band, Bon Iver, Stephan Bodzin and more. http://liine.net/

SOUNDCLOUD is an audio platform that enables anyone to upload, record, promote and share their originally-created sounds and media across the internet, in a simple, accessible and feature-rich way. PYNTAGO is an Ableton Certified Training Center based in Amersfoort and Amsterdam. Various Ableton courses are taught, as well as courses in mastering, synthesis and music theory. Groups are limited to 6 students, which gives a lot of room for personal attention. Knowledgeable teachers, who are all active producers, teach a balanced mix of theory and practice. ARTTECH Mattijs Kneppers is an independent software developer who specializes in technology for art. Since 2005 he has realized a range of innovative real-time solutions for audiovisual artists and performers. Among others his work received a Webby Award (Eboman Viva La Creacion project) and a Plaza Innovation Award (Midiator Vision project). For the Mason Live! 2011/2012 world tour he built a system that enables real-time control over video and lighting from Ableton Live. During this workshop Mattijs will explain and demonstrate how Max For Live allows you to use Ableton Live as more than a musical tool. http://arttech.nl/

DEEPRED TV The founder of DeepRED.tv, Manuel Rodrigues, started his design career in 1991 as a graffiti artist. During this period he developed a strong love for typography and graphic arts. DeepRED.tv now creates motion design and specializes in translating music to the visual domain. Manuel will explain the concept behind the synchronized show that is currently used by Mason Live! during their 2011/2012 world tour.
