Events
During the entire year Media Satellite initiates workshops, producer conferences and music events at different levels and styles. In our view this is a great way to communicate with both new and enthousiastic existing users. This is an overview of some of our current events which we initiated or in which we participated with other interesting partners:

MUSIC ALIVE EVENT

Description: Yearly free event for users of all levels, dealers, educational contacts, endorsers. Platform for end-users and professionals to learn new products, new technologies, watch workshops, artist performances, artist interviews and networking etc. |

GUITAR RECORDING EVENT

Description: Open and free event for end-users of all levels and SAE students. Guitar recording clinics and education on special recording techniques, studio sessions. Show and Info spot at the SAE practical area. |

Jazzberry is a musicians collective whom organize every first Thursday of the month special music events at the Hotel Arena Amsterdam (capacity 800 people) – Jazzberry is all about DJ in combination with Live music (Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, Afro). We support 2 events during 2009 (May 7 and September 3) with product workshops (Ableton, Propellerhead etc.) and Show and Information spot at the location. |

ROOMS OF RED BULL
Date: MAY/ JUNE/ JULY/ AUGUST/ 2009 Location: Red light district – centre of Amsterdam. Initiative and Organization: Red Bull and DJ Broadcast, Media Satellite, SAE
Number of Visitors: Expected 2500 / of which 120 students (Ableton and Resolume)

Former gambling house (3 stories) will be changed in a palace of creativity with a Music Room, Expo Room, Show Room, Lecture Room and Inspiration Room. Open 6 days a week (Monday's Closed) from 02.00 till 22.00 PM. Red Bull is doing these projects all over the world like Red Bull Music Academy, Red Bull Art Beat. Motto 'Red Bull doesn't only stimulate the body but also the mind'. Last 2 years the city of Amsterdam is cleaning-up the red-light district in Amsterdam and every house of prostitution or gambling hall is bought by the city and replaced by creative activities, cloth designers, art-shops, galleries. |

AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT

The Amsterdam Dance Event is Europe’s leading electronic and dance music conference as well as the worlds biggest club festival, organized by The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation. The ADE is held in the centre of Amsterdam at the historic canal-side Felix Meritis building and the luxurious neighbouring Dylan Hotel.
During the 4 days of the (international famous) Amsterdam Dance Event with visitors from all over the world we have 2 events. First (22.10) an event at the Sugar Factory club a venue for 250 visitors where we will do a mix of product clinics and artist performances and the second (24.10) we support the Producers Day at Felix Meritus with a workshop and Show and Information spot. |
